Foissac walks

An easy family walk on the Causse plateau between Foissac and the cliffs of the Lot Valley. At the recently restored Mas de Renayac, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the Lot Valley, with Larroque-Toirac Castle opposite.

Twenty-seventh stage of the Camino de Santiago. For this stage, you leave theGR®65to follow a charming alternative route that will take you off the beaten track and allow you to discover unspoilt nature with breathtaking scenery. Just before the charming little village of Béduer, you leave theGR® 65 to take the Célé route on theGR® 651. You will pass through the villages of Boussac and Corn, with their old houses typical of the Quercy region and their troglodyte caves. Then, nestled in the bend of the Célé, you’ll discover Espagnac-Sainte-Eulalie, two authentic villages merged into one. It must be said, the magnificent priory and its exceptional bell tower are worth the detour in their own right. It’s not without reason that the place is called Val Paradis.

Hike to discover the ruins of Peyrusse-le-Roc and its countryside.

This circular route allows you to explore the two villages of Peyrusse-le-Roc: - the village around the church is the current village, - on the slopes, the ruined medieval city. If you are already familiar with it, the hike offers an unusual arrival point. If you are not familiar with it, it will make you want to come back to explore the area in more detail.

This circular route is a combination of two referenced routes: the Lunan route at the beginning and end, and the Capdenac route in the middle. This route is not particularly difficult and offers superb views of the Lot valley and the town of Capdenac-Gare, as well as allowing you to visit the medieval town of Capdenac le Haut.

Discover the village of Lentillac-Saint Blaise from the hamlets overlooking it. Labat, Le Puech, Polzes and Lacaze all offer typical Quercy dwellings and bear witness to the agricultural and wine-growing activity that once took place there. A hilly route offering beautiful views and passing through pretty hamlets characteristic of our region. Can be done on foot, horseback or mountain bike.

A varied route with a slight climb at the start and a very flat return. The route runs along the edge of the village of Cajarc before climbing into the hills to the Lacaunhe cave. The return journey is along the banks of the Lot, offering coolness and an effortless finish.

This circular walk starts from Saint-Clair de Margue, a hamlet belonging to Salvagnac-Carjac. On this walk, you will walk along roads without meeting anyone. You will take paths between low walls that mark the boundaries of plots of land. You will see magnificent landscapes on both sides. You will be in the shade most of the time, but also in the sun on other sections. You will discover the Gouffre de l'Oule.

This circuit in the hills above the Lot Valley offers numerous viewpoints and a chance to discover the landscapes of the Causse.

1-hour discovery hike. You will discover several dolmens, including Bois Del Rey, Bois de Galtier, Devès des Gleyettes and the Cloup des Gleyettes basin.

This splendid route has many attractions: the Château des Anglais clinging to the cliff, the Priory of Espagnac-Sainte-Eulalie and several superb views of the Célé Valley.

The twenty-eighth stage of the Camino de Santiago. A truly beautiful stage that winds through the Célé Valley. As you follow the river, the rocky cliffs open up to reveal their dark caves, pretty villages, cave dwellings and mills. The Célé Valley undulates along a route that is both wild and poetic, and is sure to fill you with wonder!

Between Figeac and its confluence with the Lot, the Célé river crosses a limestone plateau. It winds its way between cliffs offering stunning views of the valley. This hike follows part of the river's course. The elevation gain on this walk will delight the more athletic, but it can also be easily split into two to suit everyone.

A circular route that will take you a little higher up before descending again, following the Darse stream which flows into the Massar sinkhole. Several fountains along the route.

A beautiful hike through the side valleys of the Aveyron valley, taking you from the highest point of Le Mauron (at the water tower) to the lowest (along the Aveyron).
