(S/E) The starting point is on the old road (opposite the three-lane section on the D 470) between Villards d'Héria and Pratz – at a place called Grange de Coinans or Ferme du Crime (the farm has been demolished).
Take the small tarmac road on the left for about 300 metres, then turn left onto the forest track running alongside the stream. Continue along this track without changing direction until you reach Lake Antre.
(1) Follow the lake on the left. The path is not marked but allows you to walk around the lake without difficulty (unless the water level is very high). After the spillway, you will arrive at the road (**).
(2) Turn right to complete the tour of the lake (after 100 m, you will find theGR®9) - still on theGR®, continue towards La Rageat - after crossing the stream, the climb is a little steep.
Once you reach the plateau, you will have a partial view of the Jura Mountains - stay on theGR® and follow the road for about 100m
(3) Follow the path on the right marked with yellow/red signs – be careful, some of the markings are on the ground on the rock slabs forming the path – follow the path to the Louvières restaurant – view of the Jura Mountains.
(4) Descend to the car park via the tarmac road.
(**) At this point, you can climb up to the Antre rock viewpoint – allow 1 hour – follow the sign – you will find theGR® trail about 500m away while staying on the road you will arrive at a car park on the right - the path is marked with yellow signs - before reaching the summit, take a path on the right to follow the cliff to the viewpoint, which is prettier but be careful, there is no protection.
