Car park in front of the "Maison médicale" (medical centre), Avenue Robert Cousin.
(S/E) At the bottom of the car park, turn left onto the dirt track markedGR®22Band closed by a wooden barrier. Go straight up the track and continue to the Village du Cheval.
(1) At the equestrian centre, turn right onto the path that runs alongside the building and then passes near a flexible reservoir. Continue for 1 km to reach a stream (the Vée). Cross it via the wooden footbridge. Continue for about 100 metres to reach the intersection between the D386 and the forest road.
Cross the D386 straight ahead and take the tarmac forest road open to traffic (remain cautious). Follow this road for about 800 metres.
(2) Continue to the hairpin bend, pass the old railway line and take the Voie Verte on the right.
Then continue to the Source de Sainte Radegonde (sign).
(3) Turn left and rejoin the main track that goes around the priory. Follow this track to the right until the next intersection. Then turn right into the lane that leads to the Priory of Saint-Ortaire.
(4) Cross the priory and continue straight ahead along the wide path that leads to Bagnoles-de-l'Orne. At the end of the path, turn left and head towards the OTSI (Tourist Office). Then turn right into the main shopping street and continue straight ahead to the lake.
(5) At the "Potinière du lac", cross the street towards the lake, then turn right and head towards the post office until you reach a stone staircase leading to the garden on the lake shore. Then head towards the small wooden bridge at the end of the lake. Cross over to the other side, then turn left and go around the Casino via a staircase to return to the main avenue.
(6) Turn right onto this road, pass in front of the Casino and then, after the petrol station, take the first street on the right which leads back to the medical centre (S/E).
