This route between land and marsh starts at the car park of the village hall in Montmartin-en-Graignes.
(S/E) We head towards a place called "Le Rata" where "L'auberge aux marais" is located.
At the roundabout, we turn right towards Carentan and cross the A174 national road.
(1) At the roundabout, we take the second exit and then turn left towards "Tournière".
(2) We continue on our way to the next crossroads, where we turn right towards "La Planque".
(3) In this hamlet, we turn left towards Saint-Nicolas, which we cross.
(4) We pass under a power line. At the crossroads after the dog kennels, we turn left and head down towards the marsh.
(5) When we reach the edge of the marsh, we turn right and follow the marsh to the road leading to Graignes.
(6) We take this road to reach the towpath on the right before the bridge.
(7) We walk along the towpath to the bridge and the "Maison des Ormes" car park.
(8) After climbing up to this house and admiring the lock that connects the Taute to the canal, we turn back to the car park and take the path on the left leading to the places known as "Cap" and then "Paradis".
(9) We then take a cart track on the left towards "Campcap". At the crossroads, we continue straight on and reach "Déville".
(10) We turn left onto the D89 and after about a hundred metres, keep right at the three-way junction towards "La Pouque".
(11) Turn right onto a gravel road and follow it to the intersection with the D444 road at a place called "La Goussellerie". Continue straight ahead, then take the first road on the left. You will then reach your starting point by crossing the bridge over the A174 national road and returning to the car park of the village hall (S/E).
