Departure from Montmartin-en-Graignes Town Hall.
(S/E) From the town hall, turn left onto the path towards Saint-Martin. Ignore the first path on your right. Pass La Loge du Gué and continue until you reach the Vire on your left. Then, after Vaulbert, take a path that climbs to the right. At the junction, turn slightly left and continue to a building. Follow the path on the left. The hike continues along this path, which descends into the valley and then climbs back up to the T-junction.
(1) Take the path on the right to rejoin the old national road 174, which you take on the right.
(2) At a place called "Briseval", take the path on the left, at the corner of the house parallel to the road. The path descends towards the marshes and passes over the dual carriageway. Walk along the marshes, parallel to the Vire-et-Taute canal, located a few hundred metres away, before arriving at a tarmac road that leads to a place called "Le Haut Grouais".
(3) Take the path on the right after the locality. At the next crossroads, turn right onto Route des Mésanges and continue to the locality of La Goussellerie.
(4) Turn right, cross the dual carriageway and continue to the next roundabout at "Rata".
(5) Turn left onto Route de l'Abbé Bihel (D444) and return to the starting point (S/E).
