Departure from the car park in front of the Rue Foch socio-cultural centre in Novéant-sur-Moselle.
(S/E) With your back to the centre, turn left onto the pavement along Rue Foch, cross the stream "La Gorzia" and immediately follow the path on the left along the stream to Rue de l'Hôpital. Follow this street for about 100 metres, continue left along Rue de la Halle and then Rue du Moulin Haut (2nd on the right). Continue straight ahead along the small grassy path to reach the tramway path.
(1) Turn right onto this path and follow it for about 1.6 km.
(2) Turn left onto the small path that runs alongside the tramway path for 250 metres, then veer left away from it. Continue for 100 metres.
(3) Arrive at the spring and enter the forest via the path on the right. Continue along this path in a north-westerly direction.
(4) At the junction with theGR®5, continue straight ahead for about 100 m, then leave theGR® and take a path on the left. Continue for about 1.3 km until you reach a crossroads with a track.
(5) Take the wide path opposite for about 350 m, turn left and continue along this path for about 1 km until you reach a hunting hut on the right, where you will rejoin theGR®5.
(6) Turn right onto theGR®5(white and red markings) and follow this path for 2.6 km to leave the forest and reach Rue de Gorze.
(7) Turn left onto the tarmac road that descends for about 1.5 km and enter the village of Novéant via Rue de Chantereine. Continue straight on via Rue de la Louvière and then Grand Rue.
Take the small path on the left that passes between the houses to reach Rue du Moulin Bas and turn right onto this street. Continue for about 400 m to reach the car park at the start (S/E).
