Park in the Décathlon car park on the Buffalo Grill side.
(S/E) Take the path and the bridge that crosses the Authion.
(1) Take the stairs on the left to reach the dirt path, then follow the right bank
(2) Turn right onto the path, following the yellow markings, and turn right at the pumping station. You will arrive near a farm, elevation 21.
(3) Turn left at the road and pass Belle Poule Castle. Continue to the hamlet of Les Sables.
(4) Leave the road and take the path on the right. Walk along the Loire to reach the small hamlet of Île Marière. Go around it on the right until you reach a tarmac road. Follow the road north, leaving the houses behind you. Approach the road a few metres away, near Les Grollets.
(5) Take the path on the left and follow the yellow markings. After 150 metres, turn left, heading due south, and walk alongside the A87N motorway. Near the river, pass underneath it and head north. Skirt the Levée de la Belle Poule.
(6) Turn left towards the Bras de Saint-Aubin. Follow it before joining the road to Les Ponts-de-Cé.
(7) Leave the path and take the road on the left towards Les Ponts-de-Cé. Pass the drinking water plant and the water treatment plant. You will reach a crossroads.
(8) Turn right onto Rue Kléber (you can follow the yellow trail to see the church). You will come out onto Quai de l'Authion.
(9) Cross to the other bank via the small bridge (magnificent when the wisteria is in bloom) and turn right.
To complete the circular loop, return along the left bank, following the path that runs alongside the canal to the car park where you started (S/E).
It is true that some parts are not easily accessible, but there is one small piece in particular that is incorrect.
