Description of the walk

Start from the car park at Joganville Town Hall.

(S/E) Head towards the church and turn left towards Montebourg, following the red and whiteGR® markings. Cross the small bridge and continue straight on.

(1) Turn left onto a path – or hunting track – whilst continuing to follow the GR®.

(2) Shortly afterwards, you’ll notice a well carved into a wall. Caution! It would be dangerous for children to lean over it. Continue along the track to the hamlet of Joret. Pass through the hamlet and carry on to a crossroads.

(3) Cross the road and carry on straight ahead, still following theGR® markings. When the road bends to the right, carry on straight ahead along a path, the Chasse de Jérusalem. Shortly after a bend to the left, at a junction, turn right.

(4) Once you reach Montebourg, after walking past the football ground, leave theGR® and turn right towards the archery range; then, just before the entrance to the range, turn left onto the path (la chasse) that leads downhill. At the end of this path, rejoin theGR® and follow it to the right. At the junction, continue to the left.
You will then follow a very pleasant path lined with trees on either side, running below the level of the fields.
Continue to follow theGR®, ignoring the paths branching off to the left and right, until you reach the Croix Nicolle.

(5) At the junction with a road, carry on straight ahead, then take the first road on the right. You’ll come out onto the road again; follow it to the left. Ignore two roads on the right.

(6) In Vaudiville, at a junction by the Ruisseau de Coisel, leave theGR® and continue straight on along the road, following the yellow markings. Further on, the road takes a first right-angle bend to the left, then a second turn right.

(7) About 100 metres further on, take the track (chemin) on the right. At the end of this track, follow the road to the right and continue for about 200 metres (be careful, this is the busiest stretch of the walk) to reach Joganville church and then the town hall car park (S/E).

hello,
I use your Visorando files quite often.
They are well done, but I have two comments to make:
- would it be possible to move your markers on the routes? They interfere with the readability of the IGN base map and sometimes even interfere with the readability of the route itself. These markers should be systematically moved to the edge of the map displayed.
- Would it be possible to indicate for each of the suggested hikes the percentage of roads and, by deduction, the percentage of unpaved paths in relation to the distance of the hike?
I think this is important information to know before setting off on a hike.
Thank you.
Kind regards.

easy route with no difficulties except at the end of the trail in the wasteland, which is not straightforward when the gate is closed. Given the monotony, I preferred to take the shortcut rather than go through a village of little interest. A good walk to warm up.

A lovely, quiet walk (with tall grass on the paths) but very pleasant. I extended it considerably by taking numerous local paths.
