Park in the car park on Route de Port en Bessin.
(S/E) Head east towards Port en Bessin on the D514, turn left at the first street, Rue de la Ferme de la Vallée, then descend to the right towards the sea, passing close to the church.
(1) Turn left onto Chemin de Vallet and, at the end, turn right onto Rue du Clos de la Folie. Then turn left onto Chemin des Vignes de Lavarde.
(2) At the bend, turn right and descend into the valley with caution (depending on the season), then continue to the left. At the top, turn right onto Rue des Poissonniers and continue to the second road on the right.
(3) Turn right and descend to the sea. Turn left and follow the coastline to the sailing school. Then head south to take the path that runs alongside a car park. Follow this long straight line until you find the start of a path on the left, about two-thirds of the way along.
(4) Turn onto the path going up to the left, enter the woods and arrive at the next fork.
(5) Turn right, then left, then right again to reach the fork with Chemin des Vignets de Cabourg. Turn left onto Rue de Cabourg and join the D514.
(6) Turn left and carefully follow the departmental road for about 600 metres until you reach a grassy path on the right, about 30 metres before a rectangular sign (indicating the Omaha Beach heritage site). Follow this path (be careful when crossing the D514) and at the end of the field on your left, turn left and you will reach the tarmac road.
(7) Carefully cross the Routes des Mosses (D97) and continue along Rue du Carrelet until you reach the bend in the road.
(8) Take Chemin du Maupas opposite, then Rue de la Dime and keep left to join Route de Port en Bessin. Turn right and head for the car park, taking care when crossing the main road (S/E).
