Description of the walk

Start: Parking: Dunnabridge car park, just off B3357, Yelverton PL20 6SA.

(S/E) At the start, cross the road and the cattle grid, walking east. The footpath will be on the right. Continue on the path; it will lead all the way down the hill and to the river. Follow the river downstream, passing old two-pillar supports for a footbridge. This was once used by fishermen/guests who stayed at the nearby Prince Hall.

(1) West Dart stepping stones can, and is used as a crossing point; however, due consideration must be given to the historic and expected weather. The river in spate will rise very quickly and soon cover the stepping stones. Return the same way (S/E).
