On Rue de la République, before the gates, near the wash house, you can park. If necessary, you can also park at the campsite by turning left after the bridge over the Serein.
(S/E) Head towards the town centre via Rue de la République, cross the River Serein and you’ll come to a gate.
(1) Don’t go under the gate but turn right. Walk alongside the Serein and carry on until you reach the steps on the left leading up to the castle.
(2) Head up to the castle – good luck!
(3) Once you’ve reached the top of the steps, take the opportunity to explore the site by turning left. Make your way to the viewpoint, then continue your tour by walking a full circle clockwise, passing another viewpoint and various gates. Return to the junction.
(3) Turn left at the top of the steps and you’ll come out onto a track.
(4) Turn right and carry on straight ahead to the hamlet of La Borde
(5) Turn left. Carry straight on round the bend, leaving the farm and the silos on your left, and you’ll reach a junction after a short descent.
(6) Turn right onto the grassy track which leads to the D956.
(7) Cross with care(bend) and continue along the road almost directly opposite. Cross the D94 and you’ll arrive in Censy.
(8) After a few houses, take the road on the right, towards Jouancy. Cross the D101 with care and you’ll find yourself opposite Jouancy Castle.
(9) Enjoy the view of the château’s roof and the orientation board. Take the path next to it, which descends towards Noyers through wooded areas, and you’ll reach the D956.
(10) Turn left onto it and cross the bridge.
(11) Turn right onto the Chemin de la Corvée after the school complex. Continue straight on until you reach Rue de la République and the car park (S/E).
