Park in the car park at the foot of the beautiful village of Montclus, near the bridge over the Cèze.
(S/E) Cross the bridge and turn left at the houses.
(1) Shortly afterwards, take the forest road on the right for 200 metres, until the left-hand bend. Leave the forest road and continue straight on along a track until you reach a new junction between the forest road and the path (elevation 170).
(2) Leave the forest road and take the path on the right, then turn left to climb up to the edge of the cliff: danger!
(3) (altitude 190 m). Enjoy the view over the Cèze, then turn left and climb up the path that runs some distance along the cliff. You will reach a relatively flat area at the highest point. Descend slightly to the right to enjoy the view from the Dent du Serret: danger!
(4) (altitude 293 m). Thenretrace your steps and continue along the path to the right. After a few minutes, begin a steep descent to reach the forest road you left earlier.
(5) Turn left and descend the Combe de Bertrand.
(2) Continue straight ahead and retrace your steps to return to the starting point after the bridge over the Cèze (S/E).
