Park in the free car park at Plage de la Cible.
(S/E) On leaving the car park, take Rue des Îles Grenadines, go through a barrier and continue along Impasse des Antilles.
(1) Turn left onto a track and join the coastal path, which is normally off-limits to bicycles. Follow this path, which passes inside a blockhouse, and continue towards the Maladrerie oyster farm (tasting available). Look out for a flight of steps on the right, near another blockhouse, leading up to a viewing platform offering a clearer view.
(2) Ride past the oyster farm and continue along Plage de la Clavette, a pebble beach ideal for water sports.
(3) Walk past the water sports centre, past the car parks, and take the seafront promenade to reach the harbour. Walk around it.
(4) Turn right into Rue de la Garde, then right again into Rue du Marché.
(5) Turn right to pass through the medieval market, which is open all year round and every morning (not to be missed), and emerge onto Cours Félix Faure; follow this to the left to reach the seafront.
Head back in the opposite direction to reach the Plage de la Cible car park (S/E).
