In Mittlach, park in the car park in front of the community hall, near the church.
(S/E) With the church behind you, turn right onto the road (heading north-east) for about a hundred metres, then turn left and cross the bridge.

(1) Turn right and take theGR®5, marked with a red rectangle, towards Lake Fischboedle and Lake Schiessrothried.
Continue along the road, which becomes a path, following the markings.
(2) At the intersection, take the path on the left and follow the markings.
Be careful! If you're not paying attention, it's easy to continue following the main path.
(3) At the buildings, in front of the Club Vosgien stele, take the path on the left that climbs (north-west) through the middle of the meadow. Continue to the lake.

(4) At Lac de Fischboedle, admire the view and then return to the path you came on.
Turn right (south) and follow the Blue Cross markings for about 1,500 metres.
At elevation 894, at the junction between your Blue Cross marked path and a Blue Triangle marked path on your left, continue straight ahead for 150 m towards Mittlach (west).

(5) Turn left heading due south onto the Blue Triangle marked path, continue along this path to Mittlach and join the village's main street.
(6) Turn left and walk for about 250 m towards the church (south-east).
No markings
(7) Immediately after a sharp right-hand bend, turn right for 200 metres (west then south) onto Chemin de la Grotte de Lourdes.

(8) At the intersection, turn left towards the south-east onto Chemin du Kolben. Join a road, turn left towards the north-east and continue until you reach the starting point (S/E).
