Description of the walk

Marsalforn Bay - Terminus of bus routes 322 and 310.

(S) Walk along the bay, passing by the beach and then along the harbour. At the end of the quay, take the stairs that lead to the road.

(1) At the intersection, cross the road and take the well-marked path that climbs to the top of the hill. It climbs steeply to a crossroads where you continue on the path that runs along the coast. Follow this well-marked path on the ground along the mountain. Once clear, it arrives in front of a pile of rocks.

(2) Cross this pile of stones using the arrows drawn on the rocks. Continue along the path and pass under the reeds, on marshy ground. The trail descends towards the sea before climbing steeply again. Once on the plateau, simply follow the path before beginning the descent to Ramla Bay Beach (E).

Dangerous on the first part, we criss-crossed foot-wide paths almost at the foot of the cliffs. Although it hadn't rained, the path was muddy due to the clay soil in places with the morning dew I suppose. Apart from that, the view is superb, but you can't do this walk in "leisurely stroll" mode; it took us twice as long as indicated, and we sometimes went off the track to find our way back.
