Parking is available next to Awenne Church.
(S/E) With the church on your left, walk round it to discover the two fountains of Awenne. With your back to the church entrance, turn left into Rue du Souvenirs and continue to the junction.
(1) Carry on straight ahead towards Saint-Hubert. You’ll find another fountain at No. 12. Leave the built-up area and walk past the cemetery. Ignore thefirst path on the right with a statue of Jesus at the hamlet known as Sacré-Cœur. Look out for thesecond pathimmediately after that, with a cross beneath the fir trees.

(2) Turn right onto the track. Walk downhill and pass the grotto at the hamlet of Notre-Dame de Lourdes. Follow the Ri Bellerose as closely as possible for 1 km. Go through the gate; the path climbs and you can now see the stream below. Walk to the road. Signposting ends.
No Signposting
Turn left. At the junction with the N803, turn right. Cross the road carefully and immediately take the dirt track on your left, near the bus stop. The track turns right, becomes grassy and climbs up to the hamlet of La Justice. At the junction, turn right towards the hamlet of À Tcherbayire.

(3) Turn right and enter the forest. At the Fork in the road, turn left. Head downhill and, at the hamlet of La Queue du Chat, continue to the right. Continue downhill and cross the Linçon via the footbridge. At the road, turn left.
(4) Cross carefully and turn right ontothe first forest track. At the Fork in the road, keep to the right. Head uphill, with the stream on your right below you. Pass by the hamlet of Au Bois de Machi. Move away from the stream and head uphill more steeply.
(5) At the top, at thesecond hamlet known as ‘Bois de Machi’, turn right and leave the woods. At the crossroads, carry on straight ahead, following theGR®®151Neufchâteau.
(6) Before reaching the road, turn right onto the dirt track. At the end of the track, where there is a cross on your right, continue along the road. Walk along the heights of the Masblette valley until you reach a bend forming a crossroads with two dirt tracks.
(7) Head straight on along the dirt track. Walk alongside a meadow until you reach another road. Turn right and then left. Walk on until you reach the Fork in the road.
(8) Turn right onto the path with grilles on the ground to prevent animals from passing through. Carry on straight ahead until you reach a chalet. Turn right, walk past the chalet and follow the path to the junction with a wide forest track. Change of signposting.

(9) Carry on straight ahead. After a meadow on your right, you’ll come to a wildlife sanctuary. There’s a standing dead tree for woodpeckers (middle spotted, great spotted, green and black woodpeckers), marked by a Red Triangle and a sign with a woodpecker silhouette. Continue along the forest track, which bends to the right further on.
(10) Go through a gate using the step-over and leave the woods. Carry on to the road and head left. Pass a cross on your right, then the Col de Wasse.
(11) Continue along the road and pass an old clog-maker’s workshop on your left. Walk to a junction with one of the seven fountains at one of the corners. Turn right and you’ll come out at the back of the church. Return to your car park (S/E).
