From the Linçon Valley to the Masblette Valley

Parking on the side of the church in Awenne.

(S/E) With the church on your left, walk around it to discover the two fountains of Awenne. With your back to the church entrance, turn left onto Rue du Souvenirs and continue to the intersection.

(1) Continue straight ahead towards Saint-Hubert. Discover another fountain at No. 12. Leave the town and pass in front of the cemetery. Ignore the^first path on the right with a statue of Jesus at a place called Sacré-Cœur. Look for the^{second path}immediately after, with a cross under the fir trees.

(2) Turn right onto the path. Go downhill and pass the cave at Notre-Dame de Lourdes. Walk as close as possible to the Ri Bellerose for 1 km. Go through the gate, the path climbs and you can now see the stream below. Walk to the road. Markings end.

Turn left. At the junction with the N803, turn right. Cross carefully and take the dirt track on your left near the bus stop. The path turns right, becomes grassy and climbs up to La Justice. At the junction, turn right to À Tcherbayire.

(3) Turn right and enter the forest. At the fork, go left. Descend and, at La Queue du Chat, continue to the right. Continue downhill and cross the Linçon via the pontoon. At the road, turn left.

(4) Cross carefully and turn right at^{the first} forest path. At the fork, keep to the right. Go uphill, with the stream on your right below. Pass the place called Au Bois de Machi. Move away from the stream and climb more steeply.

(5) At the top, at^{the second} place called Bois de Machi, turn right and leave the woods. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead, following the^GR®151Neufchâteau.

(6) Before the road, turn right onto the dirt track. At the end of the track, there is a cross on your right; continue along the road. Walk along the heights of the Masblette valley until you reach a bend forming a crossroads with two dirt tracks.

(7) Continue straight ahead on the dirt track. Walk along a meadow until you reach another road. Turn right and then left. Walk to the fork.

(8) Turn right onto the path with gates on the ground to prevent animals from passing through. Continue straight ahead until you reach a chalet. Turn right, walk past the chalet and follow the path to the crossroads with a wide forest path. Change of signposting.

(9) Continue straight ahead. After a meadow on your right, you will see a wildlife sanctuary. There is a dead tree standing for woodpeckers (great spotted, green, black), marked with a red triangle and a sign with a woodpecker silhouette. Continue along the forest track, which turns right further on.

(10) Go through the gate and out of the woods. Continue to the road and turn left. Pass a cross on your right, then the Col de Wasse.

(11) Continue along the road and pass an old clog maker's shop on your left. Walk to an intersection with one of the seven fountains on one of the corners. Turn right and you will end up at the back of the church. Return to your car park (S/E).

No drinking water on the route without filtration.
Parking available next to the church; on Sundays, you can also park in the Socogetra car park on Rue Calozet, near the church.
