From Semnoz Station to Crêt de l'Aigle

Park at the end of the Semnoz Station car park, next to the ticket office.

(S/E) Walk along the chalets to reach the restaurant car park.

(1) Continue along one of the footbridges until you reach a fork in the path.

(2) Continue straight ahead until the end of the 1 km cross-country skiing circular.

(3) Continue along the path to enter the forest. Please note: do not take the mountain bike trail as it is very busy with mountain bikers. Follow the easy path through the forest to reach a crossroads of trails.

(4) Turn right and head towards an alpine farm.

(5) Continue to the right and, in the mountain pasture, pass the paragliding launch area. Find a new cattle grid.

(6) Take it and descend to the GRP® Massif des Bauges crossroads.

(7) Cross it and then reach a path.

(8) Continue straight ahead on this path surrounded by fences and reach the arrival station of the Téléski de l'Aigle. Turn right and, via a short steep stony path, reach the summit of Crêt de l'Aigle.

(9) Retrace your steps along the same path until you reach the crossroads with the cattle grid you passed on the way up.

(6) Turn right and quickly reach the Panoramique chairlift arrival station. Then find the GRP® trail, take it and follow the yellow and red markings to the pumping station crossroads.

(10) Turn left to join the Bucheron cross-country ski trail.

(4) Take it to the right to return to the Semnoz Station car park (S/E).

In some cases, we pass through fields with cows.

After (6) on the way back: enjoy the superb view of Les Bauges and the Mont Blanc range from the Panoramique chairlift arrival station.
