Starting point: coming from Gétigné towards Torfou on the D149, pass Boussay, then after passing La Peltière on your right, turn right at the next road towards La Grossière. This place is also called "Les trois provinces" (the three provinces) because it is located at the junction of the Loire-Atlantique, Maine-et-Loire and Vendée departments.
(S/E) From La Grossière, cross the bridge over the Sèvre, then drive up facing the traffic until you reach the first signposted path (red and yellow) on your left, which climbs between two hedges towards Le Plessis.
(1) Cross the village to the left and follow the road to La Penneraie. Leave the road and take the path almost opposite, which descends between houses. You will reach the Sèvre (information sign for the Moulin du Bas Charbonneau).
(2) Leave the marked path and follow the Sèvre as closely as possible, even when arrows suggest you go up to the right. Further on, rejoin theGRP® Hucheloup variant, which follows a magnificent path along the water's edge.
(3) Leave theGRP® by turning left to arrive at the ruins of the Château de Tiffauges (an additional 300m to the right will allow you to visit them). Turn left onto the D753, cross the Sèvre and take the first street on the left (Rue du Vieux Pont), then right (Rue de Beaumont). Ignore the cul-de-sac that branches off to the left towards the Sèvre and walk between the houses. At the end of the houses, continue along a path beside the Sèvre.
(4) At the fork, go left. Continue north-west, following the Sèvre river more or less closely.
(5) At Chauvreau, the path gives way to a small road which you follow straight ahead to La Grossière to return to the starting point (S/E).
