From Cormeilles to Conflans via the hillsides on the right bank

A hike from station to station in two stages. In the first stage, you stay at a higher elevation and enjoy beautiful views of the Seine and its valley. In the second stage, you stay closer to the river. The beautiful Saint-Martin Church in Herblay and the important river transport industry in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine add to the charm of this hike.

This walk is part of a multi-day hike: En suivant la Seine à travers l'Ile-de-France

a very beautiful hike with stunning views of the Seine Valley. A steep climb at the beginning, but the end is very pleasant and easy. Beautiful church in Herblay

I really enjoyed this hike, which was a bit physically demanding at times, with some fairly steep climbs, but the paths through the hills at the start of the route were quite charming, with lovely views of the Seine.
The rest of the walk along the Seine was also quite pleasant, crossing a park, which surprised me, as I had expected to follow the road the whole way, which wasn't the case, and when we did follow the road, it turned out to be fairly quiet...
It was very hot on Saturday 5 April, which is not ideal for this kind of hike, as there isn't much shade, but at the same time it was welcome after a cold winter.

A very pleasant walk between 11am and 3pm on this December Sunday. We were lucky to have a few rays of sunshine to enjoy the beautiful views in the upper part of the walk (first half). And the rest of the walk along the Seine was very pleasant. The route was perfectly described. We visited the church indicated, which was very pretty.
Thank you for this suggestion.

A magnificent route, starting on the heights of La Frette-sur-Seine. You cycle between beautiful villas clinging to the cliffside, going up and down, sometimes quite steeply. You descend for good from Herblay and follow the Seine to the finish. I stopped a little before the end to have a drink on the Conflans esplanade. With the sun shining, I felt like I was on holiday far away from Paris.

Lovely walk
At the beginning there are a few hills, with beautiful views of the Seine and small paths between the houses. Then you arrive at the banks of the Seine, where the path is lined with benches that are very handy for picnics. In Herblay, there is a very pleasant wooded area with tables and, for the more energetic, exercise equipment. Then you reach Conflans, with its barges and the river transport museum, which you can see from afar. The whole area is pleasant, varied, easily accessible by transport and not too crowded on this Monday in July.

A wonderful discovery of the Seine hillsides with beautiful views, along the Seine in Herblay, a lovely walk with benches, arriving in Conflans, which was less pleasant as the pavement is narrow and crowded. We found a barge that served as a café, which was a nice place to stop. Feasible even in overcast weather.

An enjoyable start where you go up and down, playing hide-and-seek with the Seine, until you reach the beautiful Saint-Martin Church (and the nearby Herblay station).
A more sedate and relaxing continuation, where you walk along the river. Around (8), between the water and the forest, the setting is enchanting.

A very beautiful walk along the banks of the Seine in Herblay, where some trees had taken on autumn colours – magnificent!
