In Blanès, follow the seafront boulevard towards the harbour. Park in the pay-and-display car park near the Sailing Club: there are plenty of spaces outside the summer season, but it fills up quickly otherwise.

(S) Take one of the staircases leading back up to the pedestrian promenade and head right towards the roundabout. Go round the roundabout on the right via the pedestrian crossing, pass three majestic old anchors and, almost directly opposite, take the staircase between two buildings to reach Carrer de l’Esperança.
(1) Turn right, ignore a one-way street on the left and carry on, enjoying the views of Blanès and the beautiful properties along the way. Navigate a sharp left-hand bend, pass the entrance to the Marimurtra Botanical Garden and follow the road as it passes a high point before beginning a descent. Walk a few dozen metres to reach the flat start of a concrete path on the right: a signpost indicates Cala de San Francesc, the Cami de Ronda and the junction with the GR®92.
(2) Follow this path, which quickly leads to the beautiful Cala de San Francesc. Walk the entire length of the cove and continue along a very good concrete path towards a rocky headland. Then climb a series of steep steps, emerge onto a side street and take the steps opposite for a second long and gruelling climb leading to Carrer del Mirador de la Cala. Follow this street, turning left, until you reach the roundabout where the route joins the GR®92 and the Cami de Ronda.

(4) Turn right to cross the car park and then follow the path which quickly leads to the cove. Walk along this magnificent beach towards the rocky headland of Es Canó, emerging onto the equally lovely beach of Santa Cristina. Then take the shaded path on the left leading to the Hermitage of Santa Cristina and the car park: take a moment to read the very interesting information board on the left. Cross the car park and come out onto the road.

Turn right and follow the road until you reach a junction marked by a signpost indicating Fenals Beach and Lloret de Mar to the right: GR®92 markings in white and red + yellow
(5) Follow this direction along a wide, unpaved track suitable for vehicles, pass the entrance to the Hotel Santa Marta, then rejoin the tarmac and keep to the right into the small square used as a car park. Once at the end of the tarmac road, follow the path which begins a tricky descent: exposed rocks and pine roots across the path. This section nevertheless offers several magnificent but unsecured viewpoints , where there is a real risk of falling: take care if you are with children. You will reach a fork in the path.
(6) Follow the path to the right to discover the two magnificent, less-visited beaches of Boadella and Sa Cova.
(7) Return to the fork.
(6) Carry on straight ahead, passing through a lovely open area beneath the pine trees, and continue along the footpath running parallel to the road until you reach the roundabout. Turn right onto Carrer de Pius Font i Quer and head uphill until you reach the left-hand bend.
(8) Take care not to miss a very inconspicuous signpost on the right. Take the path on the right, veer slightly to the left at the next signpost, and then make sure to follow the markings – which, fortunately, are very clear – to find your way in this area where there are many other paths and trails. You’ll reach a magnificent viewpoint.
(9) Take the path on the left to reach Platja de Fenals. Walk the entire length of the beach along the promenade. Once at the end, continue to the right. After climbing some steep steps, you’ll come to a junction opposite a building covered in graffiti.
(10) Turn right. Walk past Castell de Sant Joan on your right and, once at the end of the path, turn right, continuing to follow the double signposting.
(11) Pass a beautiful viewpoint and then the very tempting setting of a bar beneath the pine trees. Continue along the coastal path, now gravelled, keeping as close to the sea as possible. You’ll reach the rock on which stands the iconic statue of Doña Marinera.
(12) Take the path that runs along the western side of Lloret de Mar’s main beach. You’ll come out at the roundabout on Avenida Just Marles; head left along it until you reach the coach station, which will be on your right (E).
