In the Eu Forest from Guerville

Park in the car park at the Guerville village hall.

(S/E) Leave the car park and take Rue de la Place behind the village hall on your right. Follow this road to the junction with Rue des Alliés, then carry on straight ahead through the village along Rue des Alliés until you reach the left-hand bend.

(1) After the bend, take Rue de la Haye on your right until you reach the first Fork in the road. Continue slightly to your right until you reach a second Fork in the road. At this Fork in the road, take the path on the right and continue straight ahead along it.

(2) Pass in front of the Chapelle Dubos and begin your descent towards the village of Bazinval. At the end of the path, join the tarmac road known as Rue de la Chapelle Dubos. Follow this street until you reach the junction with the Grande Rue, just past the village square.

(3) Take the D115 on your left and continue along this road until you reach a Fork in the road. Turn right onto Rue Amédée François. Go up this street, pass the church on your left and continue until you reach the junction with Rue de la Forêt.

(4) Take this road on your right and follow it to the bend. At the bend, take the path on the left and start climbing it as it leads into the Forest of Eu.
At the entrance to the forest, continue along this same path until you reach a Fork in the road, then keep right until you come to a T-junction. Turn onto the path on the left and carry on straight ahead until you reach the junction with the forest road, Route de Soreng.

(5) Turn right onto Route de Soreng. Follow this forest road straight on, ignoring the paths to the right and left, until you reach the Poteau du Mont Madame.

(6) Take the track running perpendicular to Route de Soreng on your right. Follow this track, Route Parallèle, downhill to the junction with Route du Fond Belnod.

(7) Cross the junction and carry on straight ahead along the continuation of Route Parallèle, with its ups and downs, until you reach the Poteau des Merliers.

(8) Take the path opposite, which is a continuation of Route Parallèle, and carry on straight ahead along this Route Parallèle to the end, before joining the D115 at the exit opposite the Château de la Grande Vallée.

(9) Turn right onto the D115 and take the first footpath on your left. Continue along this uphill path at the edge of the forest, which leads to the village of Guerville. At the top of the path, you’ll come out onto the D115, Rue de la Grande Vallée.
Turn right and continue along this street. Then take the first street on your left, which turns into a path. Follow this path, which leads onto Rue du Stade near the cemetery.

(10) At the end of the path, turn right onto Rue du Stade and carry on straight ahead along this street, which becomes Rue de l’Église. Continue and take the first road on your right, Rue du Premier Septembre.

(11) Follow this street and take the first path on the right, which curves slightly to the left. At the end of the path, join the tarmac road and follow it until you reach the junction with Rue des Alliés.

Cross Rue des Alliés and turn left into Rue de la Place to reach the village hall car park (S/E).
