A superb walk from Coux to Le Pouzin, passing through the terraces overlooking the Ouvèze valley on the right bank – the Plateau des Gras. A short stretch of tarmac towards the middle of the walk, but nothing too troublesome.
(!) You’ll need two cars: leave one in Le Pouzin for the return journey and drive to the Coux cemetery in the second car – it’s about a 15-minute drive.

At the summit, there are beautiful views of the Rhône and Ouvèze valleys and, at the end of the walk, you can discover the famous Jaubernie caves, which served as troglodyte dwellings for Protestants driven out of Privas during the Wars of Religion.
