Le Bijou and Champ de La Lioure starting from Chomerac

Park on Place Bosquet near Chomérac Town Hall.

(S/E) Leave the square by taking Rue de La Vialatte, opposite the town hall, then turn left onto Allée René Cassin, which leads to a car park on Place de La Vialatte.
Continue straight ahead, keeping the car park on your right. At the public toilets, go up the stairs on the left. Follow Route de Privas to the left for about 50 metres, then, in front of the temple, turn right onto Rue du Parisien. Cross the A-road at the pedestrian crossing and continue straight on along Route du Parisien, then onto Chemin de la Magnanerie. You will reach a three-way junction.

(1) Continue left onto Route du Moulin de Lemps. Head towards the footbridge crossing the River Payre, then go uphill to the junction. Turn right, pass through the hamlet of Flacher, then reach the bridge over the Voie Verte de la Payre.

(2) Cross the bridge and continue straight ahead, passing close to the old Champ de Lioure mill (on the right) and Château Bijou (on the left), then continue left onto Chemin de Combe Berraud. Walk past the house and take the path that climbs uphill. You will then reach a T-junction in the woods.

(3) Turn left onto the hillside path, then continue along a small road. You will then come to a four-way crossroads.

(4) Head down to the left along the edge of the meadow, then take the path that leads onto a road. Follow this road to the left for a few metres and take the path at the bend. Walk past the first house and continue along the small road that curves to the right, Chemin de Courayou. At the bottom, turn right to join the main road. Join the Voie Verte de la Payre.

(5) Turn left onto it and head back to the junction you passed earlier.

(2) Continue along the Voie Verte until you reach the junction just past the bridge over the River Payre.
Leave the Voie Verte here and turn right, follow the Route du Moulin de Lemps and you will come back to the initial junction you passed on the way out.

(1) Turn left and follow the route you took on the way there to return to the car park at Place Bosquet (S/E).
