Superb hike today
Very varied landscapes
For me, the Bloy trail is
The equivalent of the Sentier des Roches, but
Wild and less frequented

Great hike, quite challenging but well worth it! The scenery is magnificent, the trails are very varied and there are good places to stop for a bite to eat or just to rest.
However, the route is very rough and lacks precision.
But the biggest problem with this hike is that between stages 6 and 7 there is no path, just a straight line up a very steep and dangerous slope! It is better to go around the "Petit Hohneck" on the right or left.

A very beautiful hike with lovely views. The climb up to Hohneck via the Col de Falimont is a wonderful finale, with encounters with chamois along the way.

We loved this route with its varied landscapes and paths.
but be careful on the climb up to the Falimont Pass, as it was still snowy and therefore not easy to access.

A beautiful hike with technical sections, culminating in the Combe du Falimont, enhanced by the presence of chamois at the end of the day...

23 km in total, absolutely wonderful. I would describe km 14 to 15 as "very difficult".
In a nutshell: Magnificent but difficult.

Works great with just the right weather conditions.
It's true that you need to be in good shape for this kind of hike, but it's worth it, with beautiful scenery and accessible from the campsites.
