For families out hiking, curious holidaymakers, and forest lovers… Starting from the heart of the Anlier Forest, the forest visitors’ route takes you along the most beautiful paths and tracks to meet those who experience the forest on a daily basis. After a stop at the landscape viewing platform, you’ll encounter life-size sculptures of characters typical of the forest throughout this 10-kilometre walk. Through information panels, they’ll tell you about their passion and their work, as well as how they go about sharing this precious environment. One by one, you’ll come across the forest ranger, the red deer, the timber merchant, the hunter, the woodcutter, the forager, the logger, the hiker, the mountain biker and the naturalist. And perhaps some other unexpected encounters… Keep your eyes peeled – even in the deepest silence, life is everywhere in the forest!

Starting from the heart of the Anlier Forest, the Forest Users’ Route takes you along the most beautiful paths and tracks to meet those who frequent the forest.

After a stop at the landscape viewing platform, you’ll discover life-size sculptures depicting forest users along this 10km route. Through information panels, they’ll tell you about their passions, their jobs and their daily lives.

Keep an eye out for the details around you. Often subtle, there are interesting sights everywhere in the Anlier Forest!

A multifunctional forest

Amidst the old beech trees, young oak saplings, gnarled hornbeams and stocky spruce trees, it’s not uncommon to spot a logging site, hunting notices, plantation fences or signposted walking trails. A place for living, working and getting away from it all, the forest is multifunctional. Throughout the year, it serves as a shared space where its three main functions – environmental, social and economic – coexist!

Hello, everyone.
Although I have the app on my mobile phone, I do prefer to have a printed copy of the walks we’re doing to hand.
However, I’ve increasingly noticed that when I download the PDF file, the written description of the route is very often missing.
This is very disappointing – could you perhaps explain why this is the case?
