Worth a visit

The Vauban Museum, established in 1957, is situated on the ground floor of the Porte de Belfort, one of the town’s few monuments to have survived the ravages of various conflicts. Spanning two rooms, it showcases the history of the town of Neuf-Brisach, Vauban’s work and its UNESCO World Heritage status. A visit here serves as an introduction to exploring the town.
