Caussanel car park (L'Oustal community café).
(S/E) Opposite the community café, head south and follow the road for about 350 m.
(1) Superb view on your left. Continue along the road for about 400 m until you reach a fork on the right. Leave the main road and turn right towards Mas de Mérigues.
(2) At Mas de Mérigues, turn right and take the path between two dry stone walls after the small grassy square.
(3) At Mas de Cormès, take the road to the left and continue north until you reach the junction with the road leading to the village of Quissac. Cross over and take the path lined with dry stone walls, still heading north. If in doubt, you can always follow the signposts: a hiker in a yellow arrow.
Continue along this path for about 1.5 km, which then narrows. When you reach a barrier, go through it. A sign invites you to leave the path and walk along the field. You will then come to a second fence. Turn right and continue until you reach a crossroads.
(4) Superb view. Turn left towards the north-west. Continue to the cattle grid on your left.
(5) Head north-east to the right, go down to the D14 road and cross it to take the path opposite. You will soon reach a gravel path; take it to the right for about 400 metres.
(6) At the first crossroads, turn right towards the south and head for Mas d'Ourgnaguel (bed and breakfast).
(7) At the crossroads, continue straight ahead and take the path to the barriers between two meadows (be sure to close them behind you).
(8) Another very pretty path typical of the Causse. Reach the village from the north (Croix de Douguet).
(9) Continue south on the D40 to the village and its remarkable Auberge Beauville.
(10) Continue to follow the road through the village from north to south and return to the car park (S/E).
