Route de Manéhouarn à Scorff in Plouay

(S/E) At the bus stops, head up Rue Hélène Le Chaton towards the cemetery along the footpath (straight ahead, then left and right). On Rue de Manehouarn, follow the gentle slope straight ahead, going round the roundabout on the right, then enter the Domaine de Manehouarn on the left.

(1) Turn left (with the Manehouarn fountain, wash house and laundry area on your right), then straight on to the end of the car park. Follow the wide path through the park (straight on, right, straight on). Continue left, then right (twice) along the large pond.

(2) Leave the path on the left and head up towards the château (right, left, right, left).

(3) Cross the courtyard. Go straight on and left, then cross the stream on the right, passing close to the hydraulic ram. Turn right twice, go straight on, then left until you approach Boulevard des Championnats du Monde.

(4) Turn right onto the disused road, then left to go under the boulevard. Follow the old railway line to the left until you reach Questenen Plaine. Don’t miss the Stang Philippe fountain on the left.

(5) Continue along the road (left, right). Take the old track to the left again before Zandec. Cross at Restergal and continue along the track. At the GR® signposts, head towards the Pont Neuf, turning right and then left.

(6) Turn right before the bridge, follow the Scorff and head up into the woods on the right. Turn left and stay on the main path which turns right, then straight on. Cross the stream on the left and continue along the path (right, left and straight on to Kerscoulic).

(7) Turn left, then right onto the farm track (straight on at the junctions). Head slightly to the right into the woods, then continue left along the old railway line to the village. At the street, turn right, then cross it to take the path opposite. Turn right after the supermarket, then go straight on and turn right until you reach the Plouay coach station, Rue Hélène Le Chaton (S/E)

- Saint-Ouen Church (^15th–17th centuries) and the ‘Relais du Marquis’ (from 1594): former high court prison of the seigneury of Pontkalleg.
- Manehouarn Estate (48 ha): seigneury of Pluvié from the^16th century, country house (1758) extended after 1840, Chapel of Our Lady of Sion, coach house and stables, wash house fountain, hydraulic ram, former kennels; ponds, meadows and woods with remarkable trees; owned by the local council since 1985, with lodges and function rooms.
- Former railway line: Plouay-Gourin line via Le Faouët (49.2 km, 1906–1947), connected to the Plouay–Lorient and Plouay–Locminé lines (1902–1947); freight and passenger transport.
- Stang Philippe fountain: triangular wall fountain, first recorded in the^19th century.
- Pontkalleg Valley: the River Scorff (75 km, Natura 2000 site), Pont Neuf (late 19th century), remains of eel fisheries (Ancien Régime and 19th century).
