Description of the walk

Car park, Place de l'Église.

(S/E) Walk along the west side of the church and head south towards the railway line. Do not cross it, but turn left and continue straight on until you reach Rue des Perrières.

(1) At the left-hand bend, take the grassy path on the right, which runs alongside the railway line, and follow it to the railway bridge.

(2) Turn left onto Route des Petits Champs. This leads to Route de la Tidiére. Turn right and follow this road for about 50 metres.

(3) Just before the level crossing, take the path on the left and follow the railway line for about 350 metres. The path turns left to join a bridge that crosses over the D173. Take this bridge.

(4) Turn onto the first path on the right to return to the railway line. Follow this path, which veers to the left, to reach the hamlet of Les Brégeons.

(5) Cross the road to take the path opposite and follow it to a road.

(6) Turn left, then take the first street on the right. Leave the buildings on your left and continue to La Bréaudiére.

(7) Turn right for 50 metres, then take the dirt track on the left. Follow it for 750 metres.

(8) Turn left onto the path, which goes around the sheds. At the road, turn right and walk about 60 metres before turning left onto a gravel path. The path heads east until it reaches the Ruisseau du Pont Guesdon stream.

(9) Follow it to the right, pass between the ponds, and reach the intersection of the two streams. Turn left to head east again, until you reach the D99.

(10) Follow it to the right, then to the left, towards La Rigaudière retirement home. Leave the castle on your right and walk along the pond. Continue on the same road, keeping the pond on your left. Continue towards the D173 road bridge.

(11) 50 metres before the bridge, take the path on the left and follow it, parallel to the main road, until you reach the D99.

(12) Follow it to the right, towards the village, whose church tower can be seen to the south, and continue straight on to reach the Place de l'Église (S/E).
