Start from the car park at Place du Pâtis.
(S/E) Turn right then left, heading east along Rue du Vieux Bourg, then turn right onto Rue François-René de Chateaubriand for about 50 metres.
(1) Turn left onto Impasse Plein Ciel and continue along a track that leads to the D92.
(2) Follow it to the left for a few metres and, at Bellevue, turn left towards the south-east to reach Le Pas; then, via the D47, reach the D163.
(3) Cross it with care. Continue straight on along the D47, passing the Fire and Rescue Centre. Carry on to the Route de la Rondes des Espiègles at La Rohardière.
(4) Turn left onto the ‘Sentier de la Rondes des Espiègles ’ (a walk organised by the Roche aux Fées Community starting from Sainte-Colombe), heading north. Further on, cross the Ruisseau de la Ville Oger: the path is difficult to navigate in winter.
(5) Turn left towards the west, via La Ville Oger, and reach La Tremblais by taking the local road and a path heading north which leads onto the D92.
(6) Cross it with care, follow it to the right for about 100 m, then turn left towards the west onto a country lane leading to Bel-Air.
(7) Turn right onto the Voie de la Liberté (a road commemorating the Allied victory and the liberation of France (1939–1945)) and continue to Fayel.
(8) Turn left towards Haut des Bois, pass under the D163 and carry on to the next road.
(9) Turn left towards the south-east onto the local road (with a view of the Château du Plessis (18th century)) and head towards the lower town.
(10) Turn left, pass the Astronomy Centre (Rennes Astronomy Society) and carry on to the D92, which you follow to the right. Pass a school.
(11) Turn right, pass on the left through the housing estate’s paths and the playground, and exit through the gate to the east.
(12) Turn right onto the D92 towards the town hall, pass the Place de la Mairie and, via a path on the right near the War Memorial and the Place de l’Église, arrive at the car park (S/E).
