In the village of Apremont (Le Gaz), park in the public car park near the town hall and school.
(S/E) Take the small street on the left of the sign describing the hikes in the area. At the end of the street, turn left.
(1) Follow the road that approaches the stream.
In the hairpin bend after the mini waterfall, turn left.
(2) Continue up the road, passing a winery and then a castle.
At a hairpin bend in the road, look for the sign for the Pichut waterfall.
(3) Do not follow it and continue along the road for a while. Pass a statue of the Virgin Mary and look for a clear view of the Belledonne massif.
After enjoying the view, turn around and return to the sign mentioned above.
(3) Turn left and descend to the waterfall, then climb back up a path that leads out into the vineyards.
Continue straight ahead, heading north, along this path and then along the road that continues on from it.
(4) Turn right onto the path that leads to the village of Saint-Pierre and its church.
(5) Continue south-east along a wall. You will come to a small road.
(6) Follow it to the right, go up towards the Croix du Plot and then back down the road.
(2). Then retrace your steps to return to the car park (S/E).
