In the centre of the village of Isserpent, on the D123, park in the car park opposite the Town Hall.
(S/E) Opposite the town hall, turn right and then right again after 50 metres. The path descends towards a river, running alongside the water treatment plant on the right, then climbs back up and joins the D261, after passing Domaine Neuf on the right.
(1) Turn left, then after 200 metres, turn right and descend to the stream.
(2) Turn right just before the stream and continue to a small tarmac road.
(3) At the road, turn right and join the D261.
(4) Take this departmental road to the left for about 250 metres until you reach the next crossroads.
(5) Turn right towards the Rossignat farm on the right and after 200 metres, take the first path on the left. This descends into the valley, crosses a stream and climbs back up through the woods.
(6) At the top of the hill, take the small tarmac road on the right. Follow it to the next crossroads.
(7) Turn right towards Châteauroux, passing between the farm buildings and the château on your right. The road becomes a wide track again, crosses the dyke of a pond and then climbs up to Château Beauplan.
(8) At the cross, turn left onto the small tarmac road that descends to the stream, cross it and continue straight ahead.
Reach the village of Isserpent and at the end of the street turn right to reach the car park (S/E).
