Parking is available at the Saint-Sébastien Chapel car park at 1 Chapelle Saint-Sébastien, Dambach-la-Ville.
No signposting
(S/E) With your back to the car park, follow the path leading off to the right, walk past the chapel and continue straight on until you reach the next junction.
Yellow Disc signposting
(1) Continue along the path on your right. Further on, the path curves to the left. Ignore the various paths to the right and left and keep following this same path towards Krieghurst and a forest track.
Red Rectangle Signpost
(2) Follow this path on the left for a few metres, then take the path on the left towards Ortenbourg Castle. Ignore the next junction with the path marked with red-white-red Red Rectangles. The path curves to the right and further on joins the junction with the Route Forestière des Châteaux.
(3) Ignore the forest road and continue along the same path to the next junction, where there is a picnic area.
(4) Carry on straight ahead along the same path to reach Ortenbourg Castle.

(5) After your visit, continue along the path that descends to the right and head for the next junction.
Red Triangle signposting
(6) Continue along the path on the left, ignore the next path on the right and carry on to Dieffenthal.
(7) At the entrance to the village, follow Rue de l’Église to the right, passing the oratory where there is a picnic area. Continue straight on along Rue de l’Église until you reach Rue de Dieffenthal.
(8) Carry on straight ahead until you reach the Y-junction marked by a cross.
(9) Leave Rue de Dieffenthal and continue to the left to return to the original fork in the road.
(1) Follow the route back along the same path you took on the way there until you reach the Saint-Sébastien Chapel in Dambach-la-Ville (S/E).
