Start from the school car park in Montceau.
(S/E) Go around the war memorial and turn left (north-west) onto Chemin de la Chapelle. Go uphill, past the cemetery and ignore the roads on the right.
(1) At the T-junction, turn right to quickly reach the Notre-Dame de Bonne Conduite Chapel.
(2) Return to the previous intersection.
(1) Continue straight ahead on a path that descends.
(3) Join a road and follow it to the right. Join another road and follow it for about 100 metres.
(4) Then take the path that branches off to the left (before the pedestrian crossing). Go downhill and cross a stream. Go back up the other side, ignoring a path that branches off to the right.
(5) At the next intersection, turn right towards the Lavoir (sign). Climb up a steep valley.
(6) At the top, just before a hamlet, turn right onto a small uphill path. You will come to a road; follow it to the left.
(7) At the entrance to a left-hand bend, turn right onto Chemin de Champ Robert.
(8) At the end, turn left onto a grassy, poorly marked path. Go downhill and then uphill. You will come to a road; follow it to the left. Go downhill and ignore two paths on the left, then one on the right.
(9) Turn left towards the Notre-Dame de la Salette Chapel.
(10) Pass by the foot of the chapel and continue along the path of the same name. Pass a spring and a small, inconspicuous staircase on the right. Ignore the first path on the left.
(11) Take a path on the left towards the Chapel of Saint Joseph. Climb steeply to reach the chapel.
(12) Continue along the path and gradually head north.
(13) Return to the Ruy road and follow it to the right. Take the first left, Chemin du Bouchet.
(14) After passing the sports facilities, take a path on the left, heading due west. At the end, you will come to a road. Follow it to the right. Ignore a road coming from the left and then a turn-off to the left.
(15) Between two houses (signposted "privé"), take a path on the left that is accessible to pedestrians and cyclists.
(16) At the end, turn left onto Chemin du Ruisseau de l'Enfer. Head north, go downhill, cross the stream and go back up the other side. At a crossroads, go straight ahead and, at the next crossroads, turn left to quickly return to the starting point (S/E).
