The start is on the D578, between Plan de Baix and Omblèze, in the gorges. Pass the Moulin de la Pipe and park just before the Cascade de la Pissoire, at the "Baume Noire" signpost.
(S/E) Take the trail that climbs north into the forest, starting a few dozen metres before the Chute de la Pissoire (yellow and green markings) and continue until you reach a fork.
(1)Continue uphill to the left and reach a fork.
(2) Turn right and descend to the canyon at the bottom of the valley.
(3) Ignore the path that climbs to the right and start walking through the fairly narrow canyon between the two cliffs. Pass two passages equipped with steps sealed into the rock, then reach the stream that becomes visible. Pass a small rocky staircase at the water's edge, then continue until you reach the exit on the right, a few metres before a small bridge.
(4) Continue to the right and follow the path uphill to a track.
(5) Follow this road to the right and you will soon find the start of a path on the right.
(6) Take this path, which runs alongside the track, then gradually moves away from it. Continue downhill and, along a gentle slope, through beautiful woodland, until you reach a fork.
(7) Keep left until you reach the fork at the Ferme du Pescher.
(8) Turn left uphill and quickly rejoin the track. Continue downhill to the right and reach the next fork.
(9) Turn left onto the concrete track and descend the seven hairpin bends.
(10) At the road, continue right, carefully, on the left shoulder. Pass the Chute de la Pissoire waterfall and reach the small car park at a place called "Baume Noire" (S/E).
