Park in the town hall car park, Rue du Chevecier (D78).
(S/E) Leave the car park on the right towards a roundabout, stay on the right-hand pavement and go under the "Route Bleue" to reach a second roundabout 150 m further on.
(1) Turn right onto the D136 towards Chauvé and follow this road. At the T-junction, turn left (keep to the right-hand side of the road as it is a blind bend and there are crash barriers on the left).
(2) Turn left onto the Route de l'Aubaudière and, after 200 m, take a small path lined with hedges to the Route Moulin de Beaulieu. Cross this road to take the path opposite for about 850 m.
(3) Turn left onto Chemin de la Plaine and follow it for 1,100 m. Cross a road near Moulin de Proutière to reach a fork just before a wind turbine.
(4) Turn left onto the path and follow it for 1,170 m until you reach the D78, Route de Saint-Père-en-Retz (D78).
(5) Cross the road with care and take the Route de Prouaud opposite for 500 m until you reach Rue du Moulin de la Vierge on the left,
(6) Take Rue du Moulin de la Vierge, which continues as Chemin de la Sicaudais for 1,500 m until you reach the “Route Bleue” expressway. About 100 m before this expressway, a short detour (110 m) takes you to the Menhir du Boivre.
(7) Before the dual carriageway (D213), take the path on the right which passes under this road and emerges onto Rue de la Pierre Levée. Follow this street for 460 m to reach Route des Combergeries; cross it and take Chemin du Reveau opposite until you reach the coastal path, Plage de la Roussellerie.
(8) Take the coastal path on the left and continue to Route de la Source.
(9) Follow it to the roundabout with Boulevard de l’Océan. Walk along the coast for about 700 m to Port de Comberge.
(10) Opposite the harbour master’s office, cross the boulevard and take Rue du Port for 550 m, which curves slightly to the left. At the junction, turn right onto Avenue des Rochettes for 80 m, then turn left onto Avenue des Sports.
(11) After 60 m on this avenue, turn right onto Chemin du Bel Essor and follow it to Avenue du Commandant L'Herminier. Cross the road to take Rue du Moulin opposite.
(12) When you reach Rue du Redois, turn right, walk past the Saint-Michel cinema and turn left into the car park towards the church. 30 metres further on, on the right, take the opportunity to visit the factory shop: l'Atelier Saint-Michel, where you’ll find the full range of Saint-Michel biscuits.
Head back towards the church and continue straight on for 200 m to return to the car park where you started (S/E).
