The car park is located next to the municipal police buildings on Avenue de Verdun.
(S/E) Exit the car park and turn right onto the pedestrian walkway that runs alongside it. At the end of the walkway, continue straight ahead along Rue du Marquis de Trésigny (towards the school). The street turns left then right and becomes Place Ayen de Noailles.
(1) Turn left onto the small square and then right onto Rue des Marnières. This street crosses two other streets and becomes a dead end. A passageway extends it and leads to a lawn. Turn right, go through the hedge and then walk along the left side of the gardens.
(2) When you reach the farm track, turn right. At the first crossroads, turn left (south-east). At the end of the track, cross the deep drainage ditch.
(3) Turn right and walk along the ditch for 300 metres. Then cross the ditch again. Go around La Plumasserie farm on the right and come out onto a small road.
(4) Cross the road and follow the small road opposite, which joins the D436, which you cross. In the hamlet of Vizy, follow Rue du Bréon, which turns left, then right. You will join theGR®1(red and white markings), which you follow to Fontenay-Trésigny.
(5) Turn right onto Chemin du Parc and follow the GR®. Turn left at the T-junction and head for Moulin du Pont.
(6) The path becomes a road that follows the castle walls to Fontenay.
(7) At the crossroads, turn right (be careful, 300 metres of fairly busy road). Ignore a road coming from the left and enter Fontenay via Rue Jehan de Brie.
(8) At the church, continue along Rue Bertaux. At the roundabout, continue straight ahead into Rue du Général de Gaulle. At the traffic lights, continue straight ahead onto Avenue de Verdun and you will find the car park on your right 50 metres further on (S/E).
