for us "travellers", this is one of our favourite routes, with magnificent views of the Gironde and the Île du Nord! The route is very varied, combining a walk along the riverbank, arrival at a small port nestled at the foot of the cliffs, passages under green arches, views of castles, a peaceful walk along cultivated areas, and the discovery of preserved heritage features (such as an original old wash house). Along the route, a few signs provide very useful explanations for walkers.
