The walk starts from the Caucarrières car park on Chemin des Bourgailles. To get there from the D5 in Ensuès-la-Redonne, take theD48D towards Ensuès Centre and after 850 m, take the road on the left, Chemin des Bourgailles. Follow this road for less than a kilometre to reach the car park.
(S/E) Take the path heading south-east, pass another small car park and a barrier, then you will come to a fork in the road.
(1) Follow the path downhill to the right for about 200 metres.
(2) Leave the path and take a trail on the left that descends into the Méjean valley. Continue until you reach a fork with a wider track.
(3) Continue downhill, ignoring the path on the left. After about 200 m, the path turns west and, at a hairpin bend, joins the track leading down to Méjean.
(4) Continue down this track on the left to reach the Méjean cove.
(5) After visiting the cove, retrace your steps to the hairpin bend.
(4) Leave the route you have already taken and continue up the track to a crossroads where there is a DFCI water tank.
(6) Keep left and continue down the track. Ignore a wide path leading off to the left and continue to the next junction.
(7) Go straight ahead and climb gently back up to the starting car park (S/E).
