Departure from the church in Passy-sur-Marne, Rue de Champagne. Parking nearby.
(S/E) Cross Rue de Champagne and go up Rue du Clos des Vignes. Cross the D320, go along the Passy cemetery and go up to a crossroads in the middle of the vineyards.
(1) Turn right. Continue straight ahead between the vineyards and ignore all side roads. This will take you to the village of Courcelles.
(2) Turn left onto Rue de Courcelles. Cross Rue Montaigne and continue along Rue Albert Camus.
(3) At the end of this street, turn left at the village exit and follow the GR®15 (red and white markings).
(4) At the fork, turn right and, at the intersection shortly after, turn right, still following the GR®. Stay on the main marked path and ignore the paths branching off to the sides.
(5) At the crossroads, continue straight ahead. You will come out onto the D320 (Route de Courcelles), follow it to the left and enter Trélou-sur-Marne. Cross Rue du Veaulouvier on the left and continue along Rue Pasteur. Leave Rue Dufour on your left and continue straight ahead.
(6) At the end, turn right onto Rue de l'Europe. Cross Rue de la Résistance on the right, turn left and pass between the town hall and the church of Trélou.
(7) Shortly after the church, follow Rue du Château on the right. At the T-junction, turn left, still on Rue du Château. At the next intersection, go straight ahead and head for the banks of the Marne.
(8) Turn left, ignore the path on the left (stay on the GR®), then follow the river on your right for about 2 km. You will come out onto the D6 (Route de Dormans).
(9) Cross it carefully and follow it to the right. Cross the Marne, then the railway line. Pass between Square Jules Jourdain and Square Louis Marchal.
(10) Immediately after, turn left onto Rue Léon Bourgeois. This will take you to Rue Denfert-Rochereau; turn right and follow this road.
(11) At the end, turn left onto Rue Jean Dormans (Saint-Hyppolite Church on the left). Go straight ahead and pass a car park on the right.
(12) Turn right onto Rue du Marechal Foch. Continue straight ahead and continue along Rue Claude Nicolas Le Doux.
(13) At the crossroads, turn right. Cross Rue du Chemin Vert on the left and continue straight ahead. At the end, turn left onto Rue des Chiens. Keep the Parc du Château de Dormans on your right.
(14) Cross the D18 carefully and continue on the path opposite, still following the GR®15. Go uphill, keeping parallel to the D18.
(15) At the T-junction between the vineyards, turn left. At the next junction, at the corner of the vineyard plots, turn right onto the GRP® and continue between the fields.
(16) Return to the D18, cross it carefully and follow it to the right (leaving the GRP®). Immediately turn left onto the first road. At the next intersection (elevation 167), continue straight ahead. Keep going straight and enter Chavenay via Rue du Gouffre.
(17) Cross the D41 (Rue de Condé) carefully and continue along Rue du Gouffre. At the end, turn right onto Rue des Perches. Take the second left, Cour Saint-Vincent, then turn right onto Rue du Chaillot.
(18) At the end, turn left onto Rue des Pressoirs. At the intersection with another road (elevation 110), go straight ahead, as well as at the next intersection. This will take you to the Soilly cemetery .
(19) Then take the second left, Rue Saint-Martin, and pass in front of the church of the same name. At the crossroads (fountain), go straight ahead onto Rue du Gué.
(20) After about 100 metres, turn left into Ruelle du Gué. After about 50 metres, turn right into a wood and follow an unmarked path. At the T-junction (elevation 137), turn left, then immediately right. Walk along the edge of the wood on your left and the vineyard on your right.
(21) At the crossroads, go straight ahead between the vineyards. You will come out onto a small road; follow it to the right. Immediately turn left onto Rue de Derrière l'Église and walk along the cemetery.
(22) At the next intersection (church on the left), go straight ahead onto Rue de l'Église. At the end, turn right and then left onto Rue de la Grande Place. Cross a stream and continue straight ahead.
(23) At the end of the street, turn right onto Rue de Condé, pass the town hall and ignore two small streets on the left. Take the pedestrian crossing to cross the D3 (Avenue de Paris) and follow it to the left.
(24) Take the first right, the D852. Pass under a high-voltage power line, reach the village of Sauvigny and stay on the main road.
(25) At the crossroads, continue straight ahead on Rue Médard Bourgeotte, still on the D852. Cross the railway line at the level crossing and take the bridge over the Marne. On the other side, continue straight ahead on the D852. At the crossroads, turn left onto Rue de Champagne and you will soon reach the church of Passy-sur-Marne (S/E).
