Park near the Roussille bridge.
(S/E) Cross the bridge over the Sèvre Niortaise, then pass between the Auberge de la Roussille and the lock, continuing along the cycle path lined with plane trees.
(1) Go straight ahead, pass under the road bridge, then under the railway bridge, take two footbridges and continue walking on the cycle path that runs alongside the Sèvre.
(2) When you reach Rue du Grand Port, near the hamlet of Tout Vent, continue straight ahead, walking on the right-hand side of the footpath that runs alongside Rue du Grand Port, despite the low volume of traffic.
(3) Do not cross the metal drawbridge, but turn right onto Quai du Pont Levis and continue along the river.
(4) Leave the banks of the Sèvre, turning right to head north.
(5) After a concrete bridge over a pool, turn right onto Chemin des Marais de Peigland. On your right is the Marais de Saint-Rémy.
(6) Turn right at the crossroads onto Chemin des Prés Robert (tarmac road), which soon runs alongside the railway line below.
(7) Turn left to pass under the railway bridge and, after a right turn, continue on Rue de La Chaume, which climbs towards the village of La Tiffardière. Cross Rue du Pont Rouge, follow an alleyway before crossing Rue de la Tiffardière and descend to the banks of the Sèvre.
(1) Take the path on the left that you took on the way there and return to the starting point (S/E).
