Circular route between La Louve, Le Jausier and the Barban valley

In Saint-Raphaël, at the roundabout between Avenue du Colonel Brooke and Avenue des Golfs, take Route Forestière de la Louve to the Louve car park.

(S/E) Continue along the road and immediately turn right onto Piste Castelli. Follow it and cross the Pont Barban.

(1) Turn left and follow the path up alongside the Ruisseau du Vallon de Barban.

(2) Turn left at the junction and continue due north.

(3) Continue straight on to the rocky outcrop to enjoy the panoramic view over the valley and the gulf. Retrace your steps, turn left and follow the path uphill to the Carrefour de Roche Noire.

(4) Turn left at the junction and follow the Piste du Porfait, which crosses the Vallon de Barban

(5) Turn right at the left-hand bend by the bridge and climb up to Le Jausier.

(6) Follow the GR®49 straight ahead, towards Saint-Raphaël, to the Col des Sacs.

(7) Turn right and stay on the GR®49. Turn left and continue along this path to the tarmac road.

(8) Turn right, take the path running alongside the road on the left, then cross the road and take the path running alongside the road on the right. Return to the car park (S/E).

No shelter or water points on the route.
