Description of the walk

Leave your vehicle in the car park at Ventes du Four, a hamlet in the commune of La Fresnaye-sur-Chédouet.

(S/E) Head south on the wide path between a small chapel and a fountain. Further on, ignore theGR®22and continue straight ahead to reach the Rond de la Marette crossroads.

(1) Enter the Tranchée du Faîte, leave it a few metres further on and take a wide track on the left. You will reach the crossroads of the Route Forestière du Gros Houx.

(2) Take it on the left and you will soon reach the crossroads and the Trois Ponts rest area.

(3) Take the small footbridge and join theGR®22at the Grand Étang crossroads. Follow this red and white markedGR® trail. Continue along it until you reach the crossroads with the Route Forestière de la Vallée Létrie.
