Park in the parking lot overlooking the Grimaud municipal cemetery (Piste Serge Fougère). If necessary, there's another parking lot on the west side of the cemetery, above the boulodrome.
(S/E) Go down the small staircase opposite the municipal cemetery: this little hook offers a fine view of this southern cemetery. At the bottom of the staircase, turn right to the east and climb slightly to the Chapelle Saint-Roch.
(1) Go completely to the left, skirting the cemetery on the right, to reach the Moulin Saint-Roch and its panoramic viewpoint (beautiful view of the fertile plain and the Gulf of Saint-Tropez).
At the mill, head west down the staircase to the north of the cemetery. Cross the wide track and follow the path down to the Rivière de la Garde. Follow it northwards until you reach the Pont des Fées, "an ancient siphon aqueduct that supplied the village with water".
(2) Continue east along the path until you reach Chemin Pré Saint-Michel.
Follow this in a south-westerly direction until you reach the metal footbridge over the Rivière de la Garde on your right.
(3) Cross the river over the footbridge or ford it in a southerly direction, and follow the Chemin du Pré Saint-Michel up to the Route Nationale (D558). Turn right (north-west) for 50 m or more. After the bridge over the valley, turn left at Impasse des Fées and follow the path behind the buildings (on the hillside) to reach the steep Chemin des Faisses at the end. Climb the stairs to reach the top of the Church of Saint-Michel.
At the church porch, take Rue des Templier south-west. At Place du Cros, turn right up the Rue de l'Horloge staircase to the Tour de l'Horloge opposite.
From the Tour de l'Horloge, head west along the flower-filled Rue du Baou, corbelled above the village (with a beautiful view of the plain and rooftops). At the end, go back down a few meters to continue along Rue du Platane, then Rue des Pénitents to reach Chapelle des Pénitents.
(4) Retrace your steps to go up Rue de la Treille at the end of Rue du Platane, then Rue des Remparts. Enter the château and climb up to the high tower.
(5) Go back down the path to the north-east and return to the parking lot above the cemetery (S/E).
