Park at the Venelles sports park. We started from car park P7 near the tennis courts, but you can start from other car parks. It is very easy to park. The tennis court car park is at the end of the road. You have to walk past the entire sports park and continue beyond the swimming pool.
(S/E). Take the path that runs to the left of the tennis courts, slightly below. Head right, following the tennis courts. After about a hundred metres, you will reach the Sentier Découverte. Take it to the left and continue along the hillside. You will reach a fork. Follow the white markings on the left, which are clearly visible on a more discreet path that leads into the woods. You will reach a hairpin bend.
(1) Turn right to cross to the other side of the mountain. Note: this passage allows you to leave the noise of the motorway behind. Continue along the white markings of the Sentier Découverte to reach a four-way crossroads.
(2) Leave the white markings and follow the yellow and blue markings opposite. Walk alongside a firefighting water tank and continue downhill on a rutted path. Reach the railway line and walk alongside it on the left to reach a bridge.
(3) Pass under the bridge, turn right, and after a few hundred metres you will come to a crossroads.
(4) Take the road opposite, which is not very busy, or take the path below, but be careful of cyclists and runners. You will reach a car park.
(5) Turn left onto the DFCI track, reach Collet Blanc and the DFCI cistern.
(6) Continue to the right on a slight downhill slope to reach a crossroads after two sharp bends.
(7) Take it to the right and then quickly turn left. Continue almost straight ahead until you reach a new DFCI track.
(8) Take it to the right, then turn right again at the next crossroads. Then turn left onto the D63b and continue until you reach the Chemin des Pierres Plates crossroads.
(9) Turn right here and follow the sign for Venelles on the wooden sign. Cross the railway bridge, keep left and continue until you reach the Domaine de l'Olibaou.
(10) Turn left to reach the sports park.
(11) Turn right to cross it and reach car park P7 (S/E).
