From the D10, in Saint-Marc-Jaumegarde, turn left onto Chemin des Vérans and follow it to the end, parking before the barrier.
(S/E) Follow Chemin des Vérans after the barrier to the ridge and join Chemin de France near a telephone relay station.
(1) Continue right on Chemin de France, a very wide track, following the direction of Vauvenargues.
(2) Continue towards Vauvenargues, turning right onto a narrower, more wooded and less travelled path. You will come to a crossroads.
(3) Continue straight on towards Vauvenargues on the track that goes around the north side of the Tête du Marquis. The landscape opens up. You will first see the Tête du Marquis, which may seem high and inaccessible. But don't be discouraged: the track climbs gently and requires little effort.
There are beautiful views of the vast forest to the north and the Concors. At the right-hand bend, you will see the ruins of the hamlet of France on your left. From the cistern, there is a beautiful view of the dam and Lake Bimont.
(4) You have effortlessly reached the height of the Tête du Marquis, which you have now passed. You will climb a little further, just to show it up! Immediately after the cistern, leave the trail and take the path climbing opposite and slightly to the right, on the south side of the ridge, and keep going on a well-marked trail. At a crossroads, take the path opposite.
(5) At the cairn marked with old blue paint, veer right onto a zigzagging trail through the thickets, climbing over old walls. If you are on a mountain bike, you will have to finish on foot to reach the antenna. Pay attention as the trail is not very well marked, but you can use the antenna as a landmark to guide you.
(6) From the antenna and the surrounding area, there is a beautiful view of Sainte-Victoire and the Vauvenargues valley. Take the same route back to return to the starting point (S/E).
