At Venelles sports park, after the swimming pool, park in the tennis court car park.
(S/E) Join the track heading east and follow it to the foot of Collet Redon, up to which it is possible to climb (alternative route).
(1) Follow the track, which turns slightly left before changing sides of the hill. You’ll reach a junction near a water tank.
(2) Keep to the right and stay on this track, which winds its way through a series of hairpin bends and sharp turns. Follow it downhill towards the east, then south, until you reach a hairpin bend to the left.
(3) In a left-hand bend on the descent, leave the wide track and take the small path on the far right, next to the pile of stones, which climbs up the valley towards the north. Be careful, as the start of the path is hard to see due to the bushes.
Continue climbing, passing to the right of a stone hut and a large field. At the next crossroads, turn left, follow the path as it bends to the right, then make sure to keep heading north. You will then reach a four-way crossroads.
(4) Turn left at a 90° angle and continue to follow the boundary between the communal forest and private property on the north side (to the right of the fences).
(5) Directly opposite the power line, turn right to head back up towards the starting point (S/E).
