An easy hike, "moderate" for a regular hiker (difficult rating due to the duration and/or elevation gain?) in 5.5 hours with breaks. You can shorten the hike by driving along the track to Les Montets. Beautiful lakes, except for Lac du Grand Ban, which was dry. No snowfields in mid-September. Beautiful views. On the way down, a sheepdog below the Col de la Paré made me take a long detour

Very beautiful hike. Lots of people on the trail.
There were quite a few snowfields, but they didn't pose any major difficulties.

Superb hike. The only downside was that there were quite a few cloudy patches on the peaks and the needles remained partially covered. That's the unpredictable nature of the mountains.
It's worth mentioning that the refuge wardens are really friendly.

A must-do hike during a stay in Valloire. Very beautiful landscapes, but the water level in the lakes is worrying.

A very beautiful parish-specific to Brittany hike. I didn't see the point in climbing up to the Col de la Ponsonnière, as the view is magnificent enough as it is... plus it's very crowded... but the view from the Col des Cerces and the path above the two lakes is breathtaking, with what remains of the wilderness...

I would make one change to point 4: I would remove "join the Chardonnets stream", because we think you have to reach it as you go, but in fact you have to turn right well before the stream.
A superb hike.

A superb hike on easy trails through picture-postcard scenery! Lots of flowers at this time of year; in fine weather it is absolutely magnificent!
