Park in Seyssel near the Maison du Haut Rhône.
(S/E) Follow the cycle path (south-east) shared by pedestrians, rollerbladers and hikers (Chemin de Compostelle). This path runs alongside the Rhône until it intersects with the D991 departmental road.
(1) Enjoy the wild side of the confluence of the Fier and Rhône rivers. This place is also a refuge and resting place for migratory birds.
(2) Turn right onto the D991 and 10 metres further on, turn left onto a dead-end road leading to several houses. After these houses, you will find a wooded path that will take you to the charming hamlet of Vens and its castle.
(3) In Vens, turn right twice to take a street that will take you past the castle and continue left on the street of the same name, turning right at the next crossroads.
(4) Leave the road and follow the path on the right signposted "la Ferme du Comte" and "Seyssel par les côtes". Continue straight ahead through the hamlet until you reach a plateau with vineyards offering a beautiful view of the Rhône. When you reach a road, turn right and follow it.
(5) At the next crossroads, leave theGR® on your left and turn right onto a road that will take you to Prairod d'en haut. Then turn left twice to reach Romaz.
(6) In Romaz, keep to the right and continue along a path until you reach the D57.
(7) Turn left towards Côtes d'en Haut, where you can admire a bread oven covered in flowers. Cross the hamlet, turning right onto Rue des Pervenches. Turn right onto Route de Droisy (D57) and continue for 20 metres.
(8) Turn left towards the Côtes d'en Bas to descend the path towards Seyssel. Turn left onto Chemin du Martinel, then left onto Rue de Méral until you reach the departmental road.
(9) Cross the D992 and follow it to the left for a few metres. Follow the Grande Rue to the right and turn left onto Rue François Ier until you reach the Quai du Rhône. Then turn left towards the church to return to the starting point (S/E).
