In the centre of Saint-Privat-des-Vieux, head towards the cemetery and park in its car park.
(S/E) With your back to the cemetery, turn right and head down Chemin de la Pouzotte towards the Sports Complex.
(1) Once at the Sports Complex, turn left along Avenue des Blacous, passing the Fitness Trail on your right; at the fork in the road, keep left. At the end, after a left-hand bend, you’ll reach a crossroads.
(2) Turn right onto Chemin de la Cavalerie, then, a little further on, go round the farmhouse of the same name (on your right) to reach a left-hand bend.
(3) Ignore the path on the right leading into Valas d'Avenas (private property) and continue to the left. The path then runs alongside the Arias stream and then the River Avène.
(4) The path heads south, passes under high-voltage power lines and joins the Chemin de Canabières.
(5) Leave the Montgrand path on your right to reach the junction near the Sports Complex you passed on the way out.
(1) Continue straight on to reach the cemetery car park (S/E).
